Proclamation No. 23-06 - In recognition of National County Government Month

CURRENT STATUS:

April is National County Government Month. The National Association of Counties has requested all county governments pass a Proclamation in support of this occasion.

 

A proclamation is presented to Council with a recommendation for approval.



POINTS TO CONSIDER:

The nation's 3,069 counties serving more than 315 million Americans provide essential services to create healthy, safe and vibrant communities.

 

County officials take pride in the responsibility to protect and enhance the health, wellbeing and safety of residents in efficient and cost-effective ways
