ISSUE UNDERCONSIDERATION:
Ordinance No. 22-25 - An Amendment to the Georgetown County Animal Control Ordinance pertaining to Restraining Animals
CURRENT STATUS:
Georgetown County has implemented various ordinances pertaining to animals. The same are currently codified in Chapter 4, Article II, of the Georgetown County Code of Ordinances.
POINTS TO CONSIDER:
Georgetown County, after due deliberation and study has determined it to be in the best interest of the citizens of Georgetown County that such ordinances are amended in regards to restraining animals.
Ordinance No. 22-25, as proposed, complies with SC state statutes, including definitions and penalties.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
1. Adopt Ordinance No. 22-25
2. Do not adopt Ordinance No. 22-25
